This unique Royal Copenhagen Tranquebar cup and saucer set features a rare early 1936 hand-painted cup paired with a later 1980–1984 saucer. The Tranquebar pattern, introduced in 1912 and produced until 2004, is a beloved blue-and-white design with its distinctive lattice border and floral motifs. The cup bears the Royal Copenhagen crown backstamp, three wavy lines, pattern number 11/917, and the 1936 date mark, while the saucer shows Royal Copenhagen marks from the early 1980s. Though not an original matching pair, the set remains a beautiful and highly collectible example of Royal Copenhagen craftsmanship, with the 1936 cup being especially rare.
