This charming Nippon-style porcelain dish features a beautifully hand-painted grape and leaf motif, with soft purple grape clusters and green foliage set against a creamy gradient background. The design is framed by two open loop handles and trimmed with elegant gold detailing, making it a lovely piece for display or serving.
While the dish bears the classic “Hand Painted Nippon” mark often associated with early Japanese export ware, this particular piece dates to 1997 — a more recent vintage reproduction made in the style of earlier Nippon porcelain.
It’s perfect for use as a trinket dish, candy or nut bowl, or simply as a decorative accent in a vintage-inspired space.
